* Backstory – Shooting weddings for friends is always a special occasion. Shannon was our “house little sister” at Virginia Tech. Her older sister Colleen was a roommate of mine and it was always fun seeing Shannon go through the college experiences that we had been through. She was always full of enthusiasm and ambition (once interning for David Letterman) and her bright eyes said so too. We woke up to blue skies and mild breezes on the New Jersey oceanfront on the day of Shan & Dan’s wedding. Shannon, detailed but calm, spent most of the day surrounded by family as they helped her prepare for her walk down the aisle. Highlights: • Shannon’s Jewelry (including rings) was custom designed and hand made by her sister Colleen (CMD Designs) • Post Ceremony Photos were done both on the beach and at the rustic looking “Surf Rider’s Beach Club” • Beach cake!
